Hand-Scraped Wood-Engineered boards

In the olden days wooden floorboard would be scraped (textured) when a new finish was needed. This scraped effect, showing the wood in a quite difference light (it really catches the light in a different angle than non-scraped surface) can be yours now too, without the need of bare-chested men scraping away for days on end.

Depending on the thickness of the top-layer, the individual boards are either micro-bevelled or hand-cut bevelled.

Besides textured, the Oak finish as been manipulated with a range of colour options. Due to this manipulation of the colour the boards will darken further once installed in your home, so don't be surprised, when your floor is unpacked from its boxes, it all looks lighter than expected - although it won't take nature's 400 year to change in its authentic patina it won't happen over night either (but normally within 2 - 3 weeks).

10/3 Hand-scraped Oak Rustic 158mm wide (3mm Solid Oak top layer on 7mm plywood), oiled natural or oiled white (*1)

15/4 Hand-scraped Oak Rustic 190mm wide (4mm Solid FSC Oak top layer on high quality pine-backing), from oiled natural to smoked and white oiled (*1)

15/4 Scrubbed (textured) and edge distressed Oak Rustic 220mm wide  (4mm Solid FSC Oak top layer on high quality pine-backing), from oiled natural to white or black-washed (*1)

Hattan Range, textured European Oak load-bearing wood-engineered floorboards (manufactured in The Netherlands) 20mm total thickness with 6mm Solid European Oak on water-resistant-plywood.
