Wood You Like caters for any design style, any budget and any other wishes you have, from Basic Oak to Bespoke you will definitely find your own natural wooden floor with us.
Wooden floors have been around for ages, "manufactured" with traditional methods and tools, allowing the raw-materials to take their own time to dry out and mature to their own characteristic appearance. Whole crafts established themselves over the centuries.
However (or perhaps unfortunately) these days are long gone. But the interest in olden floors and especially the old patinas and colours is experiencing a renaissance: new floors (floorboards and wood blocks) "manipulated" to look age old without having to wait to you grow old yourself.
There are two type of Aged wooden floors:
- highlighting the old patinas/colours (aged)
- highlighting the "threadbare" appearance (distressed and hand-scraped)
Wood You Like caters for both type of Aged Wooden Floors, all and only from specially selected manufacturers/suppliers known for their continuing quality control and high standards. These floors combine a homely, aged appearance with modern convenience.

Distressed wood-engineered boards
Add extra cachet to your home with the Distressed range. A floor that seems to have had a fullfilling lifespan already, its dotted surface showing the evidence of the many boots, shoes and barefeet that have walked on it for many, many years.

Hand-Scraped Wood-Engineered boards
In the olden days wooden floorboard would be scraped when a new finish was needed. This scraped effect, showing the wood in a quite difference light (it really catches the light in a different angle than non-scraped surface) can be yours now too, without the need of bare-chested men scraping away for days on end.
